What is a Homecare Professional?

Becoming a Homecare professional brings variety to your working day. You could be providing support to a client in a companionship call, which means you will be supporting them in doing something that they love to do. You could be providing essential personal care, assisting with medications, meal preparation or helping them to get around their home using specialist equipment. In doing so, you will be ensuring that your client is living a full and healthy life in the comfort of their own home.

Working for Eden Care at Home

Our staff are the most important asset in our company and we are committed to equipping them with expert training to enable them to provide quality care and support to all our clients.

Our future plan is to invest heavily in training of our care staff and will be seeking accreditation of our in-house courses. In achieving this, we have recently added to our team, a Registered Nurse Trainer, who will be providing expert training for our care staff.

In the future we are aiming to seek accreditation for our in-house training and to create our own training academy.

Our Head of Learning and Development, Dr Audrey Callum, is a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner and Nursing academic who has nearly 20 years’ experience and has taught in universities locally, nationally and internationally. She will be bringing her years of expertise in nursing and education to our company.

Eden Care at Home Limited has Centre Recognition from AIM Qualifications Group, a national and international Awarding Organisation. As an approved centre, we deliver awarding qualifications through our training academy (Eden Care Academy). What People Say

Testimonials

“Eden Care have some outstanding carers who really go the extra mile. I am disabled and require 4 visits a day. In the 4 years they have been caring for me there have been some inevitable ups and downs but overall they have been very good, including during covid 19. There have been some changes in management and staff recently, much for the better. I am happy with the care I receive and look forward to many more years of their very caring service.”

“My husband needs 24-hour care. As his wife, I have provided this for 13 years. My husband, having deteriorated, goes into a care home regularly to give me a rest, but during the time he is at home, I needed more relief. Eden Care has provided exactly what I requested, and competent carers are with my
husband for two-hour sessions when required. I have been delighted with the calibre of carers. My two-hour spells of freedom are marvellous, and I know he is safe.”

“My father has been a client of Eden Care at Home for over two years now. The company was helpful, friendly and supportive, as we tried to ascertain the care my father would need after an extended stay in hospital.

The carers are caring, kind and professional.

I would, and have, recommend this company to others.”
