I have been working in the care field for the last 28 years. Most of which has been in residential nursing and care services for individuals with sever learning disabilities. I have also worked in the community through direct payments.

I also have an uncle with Downs syndrome still living in the family environment, and we are activity supporting him to continue to live at home in the family environment.

During my time in care, I have dedicated myself to be able to provide top-notch training and support in the fields of health and social care, management, customer service, business administration, and team leadership. Supporting the growth and development of the learners I have had the pleasure to work with, to better improve the care industry.

I am a seasoned professional with qualifications in Health and Social Care (L1-L5), Management (L2 and L3), Customer Service (L2 and L3), Business Administration (L3), Team Leading (L2 to L3), and holds Assessor and IQA qualifications. With a keen eye for innovative practices, Gary has honed his skills in assessment centres, refining my own approach to enhance the quality and cost-effectiveness of the services and the training that I have been able to provide.

I have a strong belief and commitment to individualised support which is evident in his focus on each candidate’s unique needs, reducing barriers to learning and ensuring a tailored approach to education. As a dedicated communicator, Gary emphasises the importance of effective communication in both supporting staff and candidates.
